Subscribers can Switch DTH Operators if this happens.

Here is a Good news for people who were not satisfied with their DTH (Direct to Home) operator, they would be able to switch their operators if these DTH operators agree to the Terms of The Competetion Commission of India (CCI), which has accused the biggest DTH operators like Big TV, Dish TV, Tata Sky etc. They have accused them of killing the competition by playing false.

The current situation is, if someone buys a Set Top Box (STB) he is bound to use that DTH provider only. According to TRAI guidelines, STBs could be used with any DTH service and not operator bound.

They just have been accused of doing this, we will have to wait and watch what happens, as Indian market is very unpredictable.
